Cristy Jane E. Genovana

Inspiring hope, igniting imagination, and instilling love for learning through teaching is Cristy Jane’s dream. Cristy Jane E. Genovana is a 13-year old girl from Brgy. San Lorenzo, San Pablo City and is the elder to her 1 sibling. CJ’s father is a rubber stamp maker while her mother supports the family at home while selling vegetables in the neighborhood sometimes. The family struggles every day to sustain their needs and send the children to school. In spite of their situation, CJ shows kind heart and has not given up hope. Their situation has not hindered her to be consistently in the top of their class in elementary. Her parents prayed for their children a bright future despite of the difficulty they are facing. They want them to achieve their goals and reach their dreams.
March of 2014 when Jane was interviewed for the scholarship. Tears of joy were shed when they heard that she was accepted as a Bro. Dunne Scholar and will be able to attend a private school. Their prayer were heard. A door for a bright future opened for Jane and her family. It was great day indeed for them. Jane’s dream to inspire young minds can be achieved thanks to Bro. Dunne Scholarship Association.
